Night procession photograph of a very large black Shiva lingam decorated with a dense band of marigold and multicoloured flower garlands and a silver-banded yoni-style base, mounted on a decorated float or ratha. Two people in saffron-toned clothing stand on a white metal staircase scaffold rising to the top of the lingam, with flower garlands draped along the steps. Strings of coloured lights and bright floodlights illuminate the scene against a dark sky, with a lit building and illuminated arch at the right edge.
