Indoor photo of a devotional pada puja at a home in Pudukkotai. A seated figure in a saffron-orange robe and dark red-brown shawl, wearing a tall orange turban, a long white and red flower garland and a rudraksha mala, receives rose petals poured from a metal vessel held by a woman in a yellow sari. A silver trident stands beside them. Around them, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti with a rudraksha mala, a woman in a green sari, and a woman in orange clothing hold flowers and bowls. A pink wall, framed pictures and a flat-screen television are in the background. Swamiji is a probable candidate, recognised by the turban, rudraksha mala and saffron clothing, although his appearance is not fully certain.

A trident stands upright beside him. A woman in a white sari with a floral pattern and a woman in a green sari hold steel bowls and offerings nearby, and a boy in white stands at the left edge. The room has pink walls, a flat-screen television, a glass display cabinet and framed pictures, with pink petals scattered on the floor. This appears to be a pada puja or abhishekam-style offering in a home.2014-07-01A photograph of a devotional flower-offering ritual in a pink-walled living room with a flat-screen TV and a glass cabinet. A seated person in orange and rust-coloured robes, wearing a crown-like orange headwrap, layered white and red flower garlands and a rudraksha mala, bends forward as a stream of white and pink petals is poured over the head from a steel vessel. Standing around them, a man in white with a sacred thread and a woman in an orange top and green sari hold bags and a steel pot of petals; another woman in a white sari holds the vessel. A steel trident rests beside the seated figure, and petals carpet the floor. The seated figure appears to be a probable Swamiji in the appearance-based sense, given the saffron robes, crown, garlands and rudraksha mala, and the scene is a visible pada puja style flower offering.2014-07-01A seated man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban is being anointed in a pink-walled domestic room. He wears long rudraksha malas and garlands of white jasmine and red flowers, and his lap holds a pile of orange and pink petals. A standing attendant in white dhoti and shawl pours liquid from a steel vessel while a woman in a white sari with butterfly motifs pours from a kalasha above his head. Another priest in white dhoti with a rudraksha mala stands at right. A trident leans beside the throne-like red chair, and a cabinet and television are visible behind. The scene appears to be an abhishekam or padapuja at a devotee's home, with a person as the central seated figure in saffron robes and rudraksha malas.2014-07-01July 01 20142014-07-01July 01 20142014-07-01July 01 20142014-07-01July 01 20142014-07-01July 01 20142014-07-01A seated figure in an orange-red robe on a red-upholstered chair is showered with pink petals, which fill much of the frame and partly obscure his head.
