Outdoor children's day celebration under a open-sided pavilion decorated with colourful paper balloons and tinsel. A large banner behind the stage shows a portrait of a smiling man in a light turban and dark ornate clothing, beside printed text. A man in a white shirt and a woman in white sari stand at left handing out items from a white tray, while a standing person in white dhoti and orange shawl holds a camera. Several boys in shirts gather in a queue on the sandy ground, one holding a red-wrapped packet. The portrait is a printed picture, not a physical person present.
