A stage ceremony where a large green leaf garland is held open by several men in white shirts and dhotis. In the centre, a bearded man in an orange saffron robe stands with hands folded in front of him, flanked by a man in white kurta with a rudraksha-style necklace and a man in a grey waistcoat with hands pressed together in greeting. Several other men in white stand around and a seated man in white sits at the right edge. Rows of brass oil lamps and marigold and yellow flower arrangements line the front of the stage, with a blue draped table. A banner behind the stage shows Kannada text announcing a 60th birthday celebration.
