Outdoor construction site at an ashram with palm trees, bare red earth, and large cut granite blocks laid in the foreground. A group of about a dozen people in saffron and orange robes and white clothing gathers around a small puja area on a teal cloth, where ritual items are arranged. A red and gold canopy umbrella stands above the group, and a bamboo scaffold and a yellow excavator appear in the background. A wooden crane beam crosses the top of the frame. Pillar bases and rebar stubs mark the foundation layout.

Outdoor construction site at an ashram with bare red earth, concrete slabs, metal formwork and a yellow excavator at left. A tall scaffolded tower with a striped orange-and-white canopy stands in the centre, surrounded by coconut palms and trees. A group of about 25 people in saffron and orange robes, white clothes, and a few in shirts and trousers gathers near the slabs, some holding long poles or flags, while others walk past. A woman in orange stands at right beside a standing lamp and a concrete pillar. Brick and tin-roofed buildings sit at the right edge.2006-12-12December 12 20062006-12-12December 12 20062006-12-12 +1 copiesDecember 12 20062006-12-12 +1 copiesA photograph of an outdoor construction site with reddish-brown excavated earth, mounds of soil, a stack of rubble and stones, and exposed footings with rebar frames. A group of people in saffron/orange robes and white dhotis and kurtas stand and walk around the pit, with a man in a dark blue shirt and grey trousers in the foreground. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands beside a blue barrel, and a man in a red cap is at right. Tall trees and a lamp post form the backdrop under hazy sky. A figure in orange with a saffron shawl in the centre may be a monastic, but the image does not allow a clear identification.2006-12-12A temple construction site at a sandy red-earth plot lined with palm trees. Dug trenches and large mounds of reddish soil run across the ground, with a scaffolded tower on the right and a silver SUV parked beyond. Many people work the site: several wear white dhotis and white shirts, others wear orange or saffron robes, and some labourers in lungis or shirts shovel earth in the foreground. A small red flag flies on a pole near the palms. Stacked stone slabs and granite blocks lie along the trench edges, and a white sack rests on the left. +1 copiesDecember 12 20062006-12-12Outdoor construction site with deep red-earth trenches cut into the ground, rebar and wooden planks laid across them, and mounds of excavated soil.
