A large hall filled with rows of young Hindu renunciate students in saffron-orange robes, seated cross-legged on mats with brass puja plates, small oil lamps, bowls and offerings before them. Many have white sacred markings on their foreheads and bodies and wear rudraksha or beaded necklaces. In the upper right, a standing priest in a white dhoti with gold border and bare upper body tends the ritual. Yellow pillars with saffron cloth stand among the rows, and framed photographs hang on the walls. A tripod-mounted video camera is visible at left. No identifiable a person figure is clearly present.
