A children's games day in a dusty sandy courtyard beside white-washed buildings with corrugated roofs, strung with multicoloured pennant flags. Several girls in colourful salwar kameez and an adult woman in pink sari run and play among blue and white plastic chairs. On the right, a girl in white kurta and a young person in saffron-bordered white dhoti stand near the courtyard. Seated spectators in white and colourful clothes watch from a covered veranda on the right, with a white-clad figure among them. The scene suggests an organised school celebration with chairs arranged for participants.
