A photograph of a small room during a house visit where a seated figure with long swept-back dark hair, rudraksha mala and saffron-orange cloth reaches out to bless a smiling woman in a white and red sari with folded hands. Beside him, a young saffron-clad attendant with shaved head holds a cardboard box of fruit and another shaved-head attendant in orange sits nearby. An older woman in white with a flower garland of white and red blossoms stands with hands pressed together. Brass plates with flowers and offerings sit on the floor, and several women and a boy watch from the background, one in a yellow sari.

In the foreground, a figure with long swept-back hair, wearing a saffron-orange robe with a cream garland of white flowers and a rudraksha mala, sits facing a seated couple. A woman in a green-trimmed white sari with a red floral garland and a man in a white shirt with a red garland kneel before him; the man holds a red fruit and offers it. Behind them, devotees in white shirts and saffron robes stand with palms pressed together in namaskar, and several boys and a young girl are visible. Visible cues include the long hair, saffron robe and rudraksha mala, but the scene is crowded and partly cut off, so identity remains uncertain.2014-07-02A small room with cream tiled walls and a red door where a shaved-headed sannyasi in saffron robes and rudraksha mala is seated on an orange cloth at right, a fresh garland of red, yellow and white flowers around his neck, while a man in a white shirt bends forward and a second orange-clad sannyasi stands behind him. Before them a crowd of devotees gathers: a woman in an orange blouse and white flower-decorated hair kneels in front, a woman in a teal sari presses her palms together, and a man in a red shirt joins hands. A wooden box holds rows of red apples, and a child is held nearby. A television sits in the background. The scene looks like a devotee house visit with offerings of fruit and garlands.2014-06-27June 27 20142014-06-27June 27 20142014-06-27July 04 20142014-07-04 +1 copiesJune 27 20142014-06-27July 03 20142014-07-03A seated figure in a rust-red and gold-bordered dhoti with a bare upper body, wearing a rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold-toned necklace, holds a small object over a wooden tray of fruit and offerings while standing young attendants in orange cloth and rudraksha malas assist. Several women in white saris with marigold garlands and a little girl in a pink top gather close, some with hands folded, in a plain room with orange drapes and a framed picture on the wall. The seated figure's appearance is ambiguous and not enough to confirm an identity, so it is described by role only.2014-06-27
