Two tall flower-garland panels with red, yellow and white blossoms flank a central golden canopy under which a figure in a white dhoti sits. Devotees in saffron and orange robes walk alongside, with several men in yellow and red shirts in the foreground. Men in white dhotis and white shirts follow the float, some with white shawls. Multicoloured umbrellas with tassels stand at the right and a green tree appears at the left.2011-01-01January 21 20092009-01-21January 01 20112011-01-01December 23 20082008-12-23A night-time ritual at an outdoor temple-style pavilion. A bare-chested priest in white dhoti with an orange-and-gold shawl waves a ceremonial fan or chamara over a decorated structure garlanded with yellow and white flowers and red roses, topped with a pink element and offerings. Smoke drifts from the left. Behind, another white-clad man in a rudraksha mala and a bearded man stand near the ritual, with cameras on tripods at the edge. Brass oil lamps and a hanging garland border the scene, with striped and yellow decorations overhead. The ritual appears to be a puja or abhishekam; no deity form is clearly visible.2016-12-07January 01 20112011-01-01A festival procession on a richly decorated golden ratha chariot with a golden elephant-head prow and hanging tassels. A seated figure in the chariot wears a gold crown-like headpiece, red garland and red garments, raising one hand. Around the chariot, people in saffron-orange robes with beaded necklaces and white-clad attendants in yellow shoulder cloths walk alongside, one holding a long-handled decorative fan-shaped umbrella. Large embroidered parasols in red, yellow and green with tassels shade the scene, and marigold and multicoloured flower garlands drape the cart. Blue sky and green trees form the background.2010-01-01January 06 20132013-01-06 +1 copiesDecember 27 20092009-12-27December 03 20162016-12-03November 25 20092009-11-25
