Night photograph of a crowded outdoor event at a barricaded registration or queue area lit by a tall stand of bright floodlights on a bamboo scaffold. A large crowd of men stands and walks between rows of folding tables, many wearing white shirts and dhotis. Several volunteers wear white T-shirts with orange trim and orange lettering reading N.D.S.S. Near the front right, a man in a lilac shirt with an ID badge stands at the table, while a worker in a white coat and gloves sits at the lower right over paperwork. A blue tarpaulin fence runs behind the crowd, with a covered structure and a blank billboard frame at the left.
