A procession moves along a dirt road lined with young saplings and a low concrete wall. Drummers in the foreground play large two-headed drums with pink and green bodies; the drummer on the right wears a white shirt and yellow dhoti. Behind them, a musician plays a long wind instrument (nadaswaram-style) and men in white dhotis and shirts walk beside saffron-robed figures. Several people in orange and saffron robes, one wearing a long beaded necklace, lead the group. Above them are decorated ceremonial umbrellas with red, yellow and blue panels and a white canopy, and saffron flags are carried. This is a procession to the temple.
