A photograph of a ceremonial darshan in an indoor hall with red curtains and a large LED backdrop showing a sunset. On the left, a bare-chested attendant in a red dhoti with bare arms reaches toward an ornate golden murti seated on a throne draped with red and white flower garlands, with brass offering bowls and a green-draped platform in front. On the right, a seated figure in a saffron-red robe and a white flower garland sits on a large silver throne with leopard-print cushions and silver lion figures, holding a trident-topped staff nearby. A decorative silver umbrella with blue tassels is above the throne. A fan and a standing floor mic are nearby.

On the right, a man with long dark hair and a white and pink floral garland sits on an ornate silver throne with leopard-print cushions and silver lion figures, wearing an orange-red robe, smiling. Behind him is a large silver-framed backdrop. In the centre, a deity murti seated on a golden throne, draped in red and white garlands, with a trident leaning beside it. Brass bowls with offerings sit on a green cloth in front. Swamiji (probable): the seated garlanded man on the silver throne wears long swept-back hair, an orange robe and a floral garland, matching distinctive visible cues; the standing lamp-bearer is a devotee.2018-05-19A seated man in a silver ornate throne with a garland-draped backrest of white, purple, yellow and red flowers, holding a silver staff and raising one hand in blessing. He wears a red-orange robe, a rudraksha-style bead mala, a yellow and white headpiece, and a green cloth at the top. Beside him stands a golden female figure with hands folded in namaskar, a brass oil lamp and a small wooden stool with pink cloth. Behind is a backdrop of a glowing red illuminated temple tower with a starry sky. A rail and an air-conditioning unit are visible. Possibly a Meenakshi Pattabhishekam puja. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept-back hair under a crown-like headpiece, orange-red robes, and ceremonial beads, and sits on the throne as the honoured figure.2018-04-25 +1 copiesMay 19 20182018-05-19 +1 copiesMay 19 20182018-05-19 +1 copiesPhotograph of a darshan in a stage setting. In the foreground a woman in a red and orange sari with a red head wrap stands at left, reaching toward a gold lamp stand, with a bare-armed devotee kneeling at the far left edge. Centre stage is a gold ornate arch framing a seated figure draped with multicoloured flower garlands in red, yellow, white and purple, wearing a crown and a white ornamented necklace; this appears to be a deity murti or a figure decorated for worship rather than a living person. In front, a small brass pot and a red-and-white offering are arranged with white and yellow flower garlands. Tall gold lamp stands flank the scene, and a red velvet throne stands at right.2015-06-02 +1 copiesMay 19 20182018-05-19 +1 copiesMay 19 20182018-05-19A photograph of a ceremonial darshan on a red-draped stage. A bare-chested priest in an orange dhoti and shawl, hair in a bun, holds up a lit oil lamp with his right hand in an aarti gesture toward a seated figure. The seated man wears a deep red-orange robe, a long flower garland of pink and white blooms, and sits on an ornate silver throne with a leopard-print cushion and a carved lion armrest, with a silver trident leaning beside him. Behind, a large silver throne is draped in red and white garlands. Brass vessels and rose petals sit on the stage. The seated man shows a distinctive long hair and beard, but the appearance is not sufficiently distinctive to confirm identity, so he is described only by role as the seated guru.2018-05-19
