A night procession float (ratha) with a silver throne-like seat under a silver canopy decorated with multicoloured tassels in red, orange, green, blue and purple, peacock feathers and gold leaves. A man with a red-brown mark on his forehead, long dark hair, a crown-like ornament and a pink-and-white garland sits on the red cushioned seat wearing a rust-brown robe, rudraksha-style beads and a large gold pendant. He holds a long red staff topped with a metal blade. Around the float, several people in saffron and white clothing, some with coloured headwraps, are powdered in colour and pull or steady the float. Two stone lion figures flank the seat. Coloured powder is visible in the air.
