Night procession on a paved road with fireworks bursting in the dark sky at upper right. A tall, ornately decorated ratha/chariot with carved gold-and-red panels, colourful garlands and a lit interior shrine holds figures of deity murtis. It is pulled by a green tractor driven by a man in a white shirt. In front, a bare-chested man in a white dhoti carries a long staff, and other men in white dhotis and women in saris walk alongside. Smoke hangs in the air and a second decorated palanquin-style vehicle stands at left under a red canopy. Trees and lights line the background.2017-02-24February 24 20172017-02-24February 24 20172017-02-24February 24 20172017-02-24February 24 20172017-02-24Night procession at an outdoor festival with a decorated vehicle at the centre. A tractor-drawn float is covered in marigold and garland decorations, with a lit arch of white bulbs and a canopy of colourful tassels above. Seated on the float is a figure in ornate clothing and a crown-like headdress, surrounded by flower garlands and a carved animal figure. Men in white dhotis and shirts, some in saffron and maroon cloth, walk alongside and hold objects, while a figure with a white turban stands at the right edge of the float. Crowds of devotees line the foreground and tents and lights are visible in the background. A figure on the float appears to be a deity murti rather than a clear individual.2015-01-13February 17 20152015-02-17 +1 copiesDecember 23 20162016-12-23December 31 20152015-12-31December 31 20152015-12-31Night procession with two decorated ratha-style palanquins under lamplight.
