A seated man in an orange saffron shawl with gold trim, hair pulled back into a bun, presses his fingers to the forehead of a younger man with curly dark hair who wears a light grey t-shirt and a beaded necklace and holds his palms up beside his head in a receiving gesture. The bare-shouldered orange-clad man appears to be giving a forehead blessing during a darshan-style encounter, with a bearded man in white and another seated figure in orange blurred in the background. A red curtain and pale wall form the backdrop.2011-09-03Photograph of two men in close indoor contact. The man on the left wears an orange saffron wrap draped over bare shoulders, has his hair tied back in a knot, a small red vermilion mark on his forehead, and a black cord around his neck; he extends his arm to rest his hand on the forehead of the second man. The man on the right wears a white ritual garment and a rudraksha mala around his neck, with his head bowed and eyes closed. Behind them are a dark curtain and a red-and-white backdrop with a green plant at the right. The left man's appearance is consistent with the page's a person reference but is not conclusive, so his role is described as a person giving blessing and identity is left unsure.2011-09-03 +1 copiesDecember 02 20112011-12-02A photograph of a long-haired man in an orange saffron robe with gold ornaments and a gold necklace sitting on the left, his right hand raised to the forehead of a shaved-headed man in a white shirt with an orange shawl, who holds his palms together in greeting. The man on the left has long dark hair tied back in a bun, wears an orange shawl with gold edging and dark rudraksha beads, and holds his palms up. The man on the right, with short grey hair, wears a white kurta and a dark beaded mala, his eyes closed as the other man's palms hover at his forehead. The background shows a light-coloured wall and a white air-conditioning unit. The gesture resembles a blessing or energy transmission.2011-09-06 +1 copiesNovember 25 20112011-11-25
