A photograph of a fire pit homa in progress. A brick-lined square fire pit burns with tall orange flames and rising smoke, surrounded by white-washed brick edges with marigold flowers and green leaves placed on them. Behind the pit, a white draped cloth covers an altar. On it sit a silver tray with a red cloth and a white beaded necklace, flanked by marigold and purple flowers, and a silver pedestal holding a blue-robed deity murti. No people are visible. Dusk lighting gives the scene a soft blue tone.
