Outdoor temple courtyard at dusk among tall palm trees under a grey overcast sky. A tall copper-toned ceremonial pole with a finial rises from a white square base in the centre. A seated figure in orange and white garments sits on the white plinth at the pole's base. A man in white clothes kneels near the base, tending a flame. Rings of small oil lamps line the sandy ground, with several lit fire pits and smoke drifting across the scene. Dark stone statues stand along the left edge. Several other figures in white and dark clothing walk about the grounds.

A seated figure in dark clothing with a garland sits at the base of the pillar, surrounded by coconut palms. Multiple ring-shaped arrangements of glowing oil lamps lie across the ground, lit against a blue evening sky. Some small figures in pale clothing stand far left near the lamps. The scene suggests a pancha-tapas darshan site, with the seated figure presented as a devotee or priest rather than an identified person.2010-07-28 +1 copiesJuly 11 20102010-07-11Outdoor photograph at dusk of a ritual ground beneath an overcast sky, with tall coconut palms around it. Many seated participants sit in a field of small circular fire pits, with smoke rising from several. Most wear white or yellow garments; a few seated figures wear saffron/orange clothing. A tall tapering ritual pole stands at centre beside two white stone platforms or altars. Several participants in white sit or stand in the fire-pit area, consistent with a homa or yagna. No identifiable a person candidate is clearly visible, so no appearance-based identification is made. Approximately 20 people are visible.2010-06-13
