A priest in orange dhoti with bare upper body, white sacred markings on his arms and chest, and a long rudraksha mala draped across his torso, bends forward at a dark stone shivalinga-style abhishekam basin. Behind him a tall gold-embossed arch with a carved makara or lion-like finial frames a yellow and green draped backdrop, with red cloth at the top. He reaches down toward the basin as part of Sayankala Abhishekam, the evening ritual bathing of the deity. The visible figure is a single person with no clearly distinctive a person cues such as a crown or turban, so identity remains uncertain.
