Close-up photo of bare feet standing on fresh green banana leaves on a tiled floor. A person in orange clothing kneels at right, holding a brass bowl of yellow-orange turmeric paste and applying it with a brush to the feet, while white milk or liquid pools on the leaves around them. The feet are wearing white garments with gold borders at the top. A ritual foot-anointing in a temple setting, consistent with the page's Karthigai Deepam context.

The feet are smeared with orange and red kumkum or turmeric paste, and water glistens on the leaf. The feet are smeared with yellow turmeric paste and dotted with red flower petals. A hand holds a brass plate of red petals at upper right, and another hand dips into a small bowl at lower right. Men in white dhotis with yellow borders stand at left, and a person in orange robes and a rudraksha mala sits at right. Only the lower legs and hands are visible, so the people are partly cropped.2016-12-12 +1 copiesClose photo of a person's bare feet being anointed with yellow turmeric paste on a green banana leaf placed over a tiled floor with white paste lines. Only the lower legs and a hand are visible: one figure wears white dhoti cloth, and another person in orange-brown garments kneels at the right, applying the paste with their hand. Darker bare feet of a second person appear at the upper left on another banana leaf. The scene suggests a ritual foot-washing or anointing before a temple ceremony, with no visible deity, face or a person figure in frame.2016-12-12 +1 copiesDecember 22 20162016-12-22 +1 copies
