In the center, a man in a plain white dhoti and white shirt with a dark beaded mala and an ID badge walks barefoot across a bed of glowing embers, hands pressed together in prayer, as in a fire-walking rite. Behind him, a man in white clothes and a dark mala stands near the embers. On the left, a drummer in an orange-saffron robe and a red-orange flag stand beside drums, and white-clad devotees with dark malas surround them. Saffron flags on bamboo poles and a decorated temple gopuram with colourful figures rise in the background, and a woman in a blue sari and a child stand at the right edge.2007-12-30December 31 20092009-12-31
