Outdoor photograph of a large temple tank at a Brahmotsavam festival, with a tall black Shiva lingam rising from a square base at the far end, water spilling down its side. Red-and-white striped stone steps line the tank, crowded with people in white clothes. In the water, many devotees bathe, some waist-deep and some submerged, several holding small orange and green balloons. A decorated palanquin with a red canopy and gold trim is carried through the water near the lingam, with two figures in orange robes standing beside it. Strings of orange flags and bunting stretch across the background under a clear sky, with trees beyond the tank.
