A very dark, heavily grainy night photograph of an outdoor evening gathering. On the left, a figure in a pale cream or light robe stands apart, holding a dark object. Several other people in orange, saffron and dark clothing stand in a row toward the centre, some lit by a bright white light above and a small string of lights. Faint red and green specks suggest flowers or decorations along the ground. The faces are not discernible, and the scene is largely black with scattered highlights.
