March 16 20232023-03-16March 16 20232023-03-16A screenshot of a video conference grid showing about twenty-five tiles, each labelled with a KAILASA centre name such as Kailasa Toronto, Kailasa Malaysia, Kailasa Singapore, Kailasa Taiwan, Kailasa Gambia, Kailasa Sierra Leone and Kailasa Coimbatore. Most tiles show deity murtis decorated with garlands, flower and gold ornaments, lit oil lamps and kalasha-style offerings on altars with red and gold drapery. Several tiles show a person in a dhoti with a shawl performing puja, lighting a lamp or waving an aarti flame. One tile shows a seated figure in saffron clothing with a turban and rudraksha, though the image is too small to confirm his identity, and another shows a white-robed priest with a red turban. The collage has no visible labels indicating individual physical headcounts beyond the tiles themselves.2024-10-06A multi-panel video call grid of about twenty small windows, each labelled with a KAILASA centre name such as Kailasa Malaysia, Kailasa Kashi, Kailasa Taiwan, Kailasa Toronto, Kailasa Kenya and Kailasa Canada. Each panel shows a shrine or puja room with deity murtis, garlands, kalasha, oil lamps and flower decorations. Several panels show priests in white or saffron dhotis performing puja, one panel shows a priest with a shaved head standing before an altar, and a few show seated devotees before decorated altars. Most panels show small deity idols or framed portraits rather than living people.2024-11-14KAILASA SAN JOSE, USA on 2/24/20222022-02-24A multi-panel collage of video-call screenshots showing simultaneous Hindu temple rituals at many KAILASA centres, each tile labelled with a centre name such as Kailasa Ohio, Kailasa San Diego, Kailasa Malaysia, Kailasa Houston, Kailasa Taiwan, Kailasa Singapore, Kailasa Salem, Kailasa Madurai, Kailasa Guadeloupe Goyave, Shri Kailasa in Kashi, Kailasa Rajapalayam and AK Temple. Shirtless priests in white dhotis and saffron or red garments perform puja, abhishekam and lamp offerings before ornate deity murtis, shrines with gold and red drapes, garlands, kalasha and oil lamps. Shrines are decorated with flowers and banners. No individual can be identified as a physical person in the scene; the tiles show priests and rituals performed at the shrines.A screen-capture grid of a video conference showing many small tiles of a person devotional centres, each labelled with a name such as KAILASA Toronto, KAILASA Geneva, KAILASA Ohio, KAILASA Singapore, KAILASA Gambia, KAILASA St. Louis, KAILASA Taiwan, KAILASA Malaysia, KAILASA Canada, KAILASA Kenya and Kailasa Tanjavur. Most tiles show decorated shrines with deity murtis dressed in red, gold and yellow garlands, flower arrangements, kalasha and oil lamps. Some tiles show a figure in saffron-and-gold clothing and a red turban seated on a throne-like seat, and others show a person in white ritual clothes performing puja. In the bottom row, a tile labelled Pujacharya 1 shows an OBS logo rather than a shrine. The tiles together depict remote daily puja rituals performed in parallel.2024-07-09A multi-panel video call grid of about twenty small windows, each showing a different KAILASA centre's shrine room during a shared ritual. Each panel is labelled in red text such as Kailasa Toronto, Kailasa San Diego, Kailasa Malaysia, Kailasa Taiwan, Kailasa Los Angeles, Kailasa Cyprus and Kailasa St. Louis. The shrines hold deity murtis draped in colourful silk and flower garlands, brass lamps, kalasha pots, marigolds and offering plates. Several panels show a person in white or saffron clothing performing puja or aarti before the altar, and a few show a person seated in a pale garment. No single person can be clearly identified as a person, so the presence of a candidate is uncertain.KAILASA SAN JOSE, USA on 2/12/20222022-02-12KAILASA HOUSTON, USA on 3/1/20222022-03-01A screen-grab collage of a multi-location video call tiled into a grid of about twenty panels, each captioned in red text with a KAILASA centre name such as Kailasa USA LOS ANGELES, Kailasa Toronto, Kailasa St. Louis, Kailasa Malaysia, Kailasa Coimbatore, Kailasa Thiruchengode and Kailasa Tiruvannamalai.
