Outdoor photo of a large crowd gathered before a raised red-and-gold platform beneath palm trees. A tall red-and-gold column topped with greenery and a garland of yellow-orange marigolds stands at center. On the platform, a standing figure in an orange-red garment and rudraksha-style beads holds a long upright pole or staff, while a second figure stands beside him in a dark garment. A decorated umbrella-like canopy and a row of colourful pennants stretch to the right. Many devotees in white and light clothing face the platform, and a video camera on a tripod is visible at left. Palms and overcast sky frame the scene.
