A bald elder in orange robes with a white forehead band and beaded necklace sits on an ornate gold-and-maroon throne, holding hands with a man in an orange shirt and dark trousers who bows low before him. Beside him, a woman in orange robes and white-marked forehead sits on a second throne holding a white cloth. Kneeling girls in white and red dresses and a kneeling woman in white watch at left, and white-clad men stand behind. A white cooler unit sits between the figures, and a red-and-cream rug covers the floor.

Two seated religious figures in saffron-orange robes sit on gilded thrones with red cushions; the figure on the right has a shaved head and orange garment, and the seated figure in the centre wears an orange robe, rudraksha beads and a gold necklace while holding a white cloth. Several boys are bare-chested or in shorts; one standing on the left presses palms together in anjali, and one kneels or prostrates on a striped rug before the thrones. Behind them, men in white shirts and white dhotis, some wearing rudraksha malas, sit or stand, and a white cooler fan stands between the thrones and the crowd. The appearance-based identity of the central robed figure is uncertain, so no personal identification is made.2012-06-05A photograph of a devotional gathering in an ornate hall with golden-carved gilt thrones upholstered in deep red. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a red-and-gold throne-like seat is being honoured; a man in white kneels and bows with his head touching the feet of the seated figure. Nearby, a man in white with a red-and-gold shawl stands with hands folded, a woman in an orange shawl and a woman in white with gold border stand and watch, and a shaved-headed attendant in orange with beads stands at right. A gold oil lamp and a small ornate box sit beside the seat, and a red patterned rug covers the floor. The seated figure has long hair and a rudraksha mala, a cue consistent with a person, but the appearance is not conclusive.2012-02-08June 05 20122012-06-05June 05 20122012-06-05
