Photograph of a temple abhishekam: a dark stone Shiva lingam on a golden yoni-pitha base is being bathed with water poured from an ornate silver vessel held by a priest's hands. The priest wears a white dhoti with golden-yellow borders and a copper bangle on his wrist. Behind the lingam stands a large gleaming copper-coloured deity murti with raised hands, and a small bell hangs at the side. Greenery shows through an open doorway in the background, and water droplets spray from the lingam.
