A temple interior at the Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple in Los Angeles shows a seated man in saffron robes with a rudraksha mala and hands pressed in namaskar on a wooden throne-like seat at right, with a stone lion sculpture and oil lamps in front of him. Standing at left, a shaved-headed priest in saffron cloth holds a tray of flowers and offerings toward the seated devotees. Around fifteen to twenty devotees sit on the floor behind a rope barrier, several women in saris and salwar kameez, a few children and a man in a grey shirt. Behind them are colourful murti figures, a black Nandi bull, and rows of small painted figurines on shelves, with a red and gold altar display. The scene looks like a puja or darshan.
