A saffron-robed priest with a saffron head wrap, red-and-gold beaded necklace and rudraksha-style mala sits cross-legged on a mat, handling red cloth over a brass tray. Opposite sit a man in a white shirt and white dhoti and a woman in a gold-and-olive silk sari with gold jewellery, hands folded in prayer. Before them are a foil-lined fire pit holding a homa with ash and offerings, brass lamps and vessels, fruit including bananas and apples, flower garlands and a coconut.
