July 30 20062006-07-30A photograph of a shaved-headed devotee in white kurta kneeling with eyes closed while a long-haired figure in white with a gold-edged yellow shawl presses a palm to his forehead, a blessing or initiation gesture. The kneeling man wears a rudraksha mala and a name badge reading Nithyananda Dhyanapeetham; his other hand is raised in a mudra. Several standing men in white, one with an orange-red shawl, watch behind them. Appearance-based cues for the blessing figure (long hair, shawl, bare shoulder) are present, so the probable identity is noted: Swamiji (probable), giving the blessing as the teacher. Indoor setting with a crowd at a convention.2006-07-30A long-haired man with dark, wavy shoulder-length hair and a bare upper body, wearing a yellow-and-white cloth wrap, reaches out to press his palm to the forehead of a man with closed eyes and hands folded in namaste. The receiving man wears a white shirt and a rudraksha mala with a small pendant. Behind them, several men in white clothing stand watching, and a black electric fan sits at left. The scene appears to be a blessing or personal touching moment at a gathering. The photo is taken indoors in a plain room with cream walls.2006-07-30July 30 20062006-07-30July 30 20062006-07-30July 30 20062006-07-30July 30 20062006-07-30July 30 20062006-07-30July 30 20062006-07-30July 30 20062006-07-30July 30 20062006-07-30July 30 20062006-07-30
