Indoor photo at a devotional gathering in a room with wooden furniture, wooden-framed windows and orange curtains. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti, wearing a long white flower garland with red and green bands, stands with bare feet near a seated woman in an orange sari with a gold border, who holds a silver tray of fruit and offerings. Several men in white shirts stand around, one in the centre holding a red fruit, and a woman in a pink sari is at the right edge. Two shaved-headed sannyasis in orange robes and rudraksha malas are at the left, one seated near a shelf with flowers and small figures. The scene shows devotees welcoming a guest with pada puja and garlands.

Around them, men in white shirts and dhotis and a woman in a pink sari with gold border stand watching; a man on the right wears a white garland with red and green trim. A figure with long swept-back dark hair and a dark, painted forehead wears a red-and-orange shawl over a saffron-brown garment, with a heavy gold necklace of coin-like pendants and gold armlets. He reaches out to a man in white clothes with a garland of white and red flowers and rudraksha beads, who holds his hands together. Around them stand shaved-headed young men in orange robes with rudraksha malas, men in white shirts and beads, and women in colourful saris, one in yellow holding a fruit. The scene suggests a devotee's home visit with a ritual greeting, a Pada Puja-style reception, though the figure's appearance is consistent with a person based on his swept hair, gold necklace and saffron-toned clothing, with his role shown as the figure being honoured and greeted.2014-06-21 +1 copiesIndoor photograph of a home room with wood-panelled walls, framed pictures, a shelf of small figurines and a vase of orange flowers.
