A seated group of devotees, mostly women, performs a ritual in a hall with tiled floor and woven mats. Most wear saffron and orange saris with gold borders and rudraksha malas; several have white ash marks on their foreheads. Each has a brass puja setup on an orange cloth with brass lamps, a kalasha-style vessel, pink flowers and small bowls. The women sit with hands folded or pressed in prayer, eyes lowered. Behind them more participants in orange and red sit in rows, and a red banner hangs at the top of the room.
