An arched gold frame above the cab holds a large portrait of a smiling man with a white turban and dark clothing, captioned in Tamil and English as Paramahamsa Nithyanandar, which is a printed caption attributed to the portrait. The ratha's front shows carved gold birds and floral motifs, a dome-shaped gold facade, and the cab windshield. A crowd of around twenty men and women in saris, salwars and shirts stands along the left and right sides, some with hands folded, some looking up at the vehicle. A palm-tree line and a pink building appear in the background under an overcast sky.
