Outdoor photo of a large open courtyard at an ashram where many people are practising Shivasthamba Yoga (mallakhamba) around tall vertical wooden poles. Participants wear orange and saffron clothing, while several women wear dark or red-brown saris and a few men wear white or light clothing. Blue and pink mats are laid out beside the poles, and a red-brick building with a lantern-like painting stands behind. A figure in white with a yellow turban stands near the centre. Many people are visible in the scene, though most are small and distant.

Behind the poles, a red brick building and a green truck appear among palm trees and a stone wall. Crowds are dense with many people visible, but the image shows far more than a hundred people only if counted precisely, so the group is best described as a large gathering.2017-10-03 +1 copies
