June 19 20142014-06-19A photograph inside a workshop-like hall with a metal gate and tiled floor. On the left, several large bronze deity statues are seated and standing, including a seated figure with a red shawl and green dhoti and standing figures in orange and green garments. In the centre, a man with long dark hair wears a deep red-brown dhoti with a gold-and-orange border, and a long rudraksha-style mala hangs from his neck; he is walking and smiling. Beside him, a man in a white kurta with an orange shawl holds up a phone to photograph the statues. Several other men in dark shirts and white dhotis stand around the entrance. The presence of a person is an appearance-based candidate from the long hair, red robe, and mala cues.2014-06-19June 19 20142014-06-19June 11 20142014-06-11A photograph of an interior hall with a tiled floor where several people walk past a row of large bronze-coloured deity statues. On the left, a seated deity figure in red and green drapery sits beside a female figure in orange and green; a standing golden figure stands behind them, and a seated golden figure with raised hand is at the far left. In the centre, a woman in a maroon and orange sari walks forward pointing toward the statues, followed by men in white kurta-pyjama clothing, one wearing an orange and white shawl. Beyond an open folding gate, more people and a rocky outdoor landscape are visible. A gilded doorway frame stands at the right and a small table and chair are near the wall.2014-06-19Photograph inside a thatched, open-sided shed where a group stands among stone and bronze sculptures on a concrete floor. At left, a man with long dark hair wears an orange robe with a rudraksha mala and smiles as he looks down at the sculptures. Beside him, a figure in orange and a yellow garment stands near a wooden post, and a man in an orange turban and orange robe gestures with one hand. Behind them, bearded men in orange robes and orange turbans stand with men in white shirts and dhotis. At right, a bearded man in a white robe with an orange shawl and a mala stands with hands folded, while another man in white with an orange scarf stands further right. Carved stone figures and fragments lie on the floor in the foreground, with a bronze figure at lower left.2007-08-09August 09 20072007-08-09A workshop photo of metal statue making under a corrugated roof. In the foreground, two men in white dhotis crouch over a bronze deity figure on a white cloth, working on it with tools. Behind them a taller bronze figure stands partly visible at left. A standing group of onlookers watches: a man in a red and gold garment with rudraksha malas and a sash, a man in white kurta with orange-bordered shawl holding a phone, another man in white shirt and dhoti, and a man in a black shirt filming with a phone at right. A white industrial fan stands at left. Candidate identification is uncertain, so the person in red and gold is described by role only.2014-06-19June 19 20142014-06-19June 11 20142014-06-11December 14 20062006-12-14June 19 20142014-06-19
