A photograph of a ceremonial blessing at an indoor event. A man in a red turban with a fan-shaped pleat and gold trim, wearing a red shawl, layered gold necklaces, gold bangles and armband, raises his right hand to the forehead of a bearded man in a light blue shirt and white dhoti. Other people stand in a line with palms pressed together, some holding papers. A wooden box with items sits at lower right, and a large banner with a golden figure is behind them. No appearance-based cues qualify the figure in red as a person, so he is described by role only.

A man in a red turban with a fan-shaped crest and a jewelled brooch, wearing a blue dhoti, red shawl, layered gold necklaces and gold bangles, raises his right hand in blessing toward a line of devotees with palms pressed together. Several devotees in white kurtas and dhotis stand on the left, and a shaved-headed priest in white clothing stands at the right edge beside ritual objects. Behind them, a temple altar displays a deity murti decorated with yellow and orange flower garlands and golden canopies. The setting is an indoor temple hall with a white and blue wall. The man's appearance suggests a person (in-person candidate) through his turban, gold ornaments and blessing gesture, though the appearance is not fully certain.
