A staged padapuja demonstration on a white platform in a bright hall. A seated figure in an orange-red cloth and orange turban sits on a gold-ornate throne under a large gilded lotus-shaped canopy against a purple-blue cosmic backdrop. Garlands of yellow, orange and white flowers frame the throne. Before the throne, a child in a grey top and a girl in orange kneel while another girl in white-and-red sits nearby. A man in white sits on the left, and a woman in a pink-and-gold sari kneels at the right edge. A tripod camera stands at the left. A faint portrait of a figure appears on the backdrop.

Around the stage, seven people sit on red and patterned floor mats: women in red and orange saris, a man in white, an elderly man in white with glasses, and a woman in a green sari with hands in anjali. Brass oil lamps stand on either side, with a brass pooja tray and offerings in front. Behind them a painted backdrop shows a sunset sky and a crowned deity face.
