Outdoor bhoomi puja ceremony at a construction site with a brick-lined foundation square filled with sand, scattered red and white flower petals, and a tray holding brass plates, bell, coconut and red offerings. In the centre, a line of saffron-robed sannyasis walks forward, several carrying ceremonial staffs and one holding a tray; a figure in a red and orange garment and a figure with a white-haired head walk among them. Behind them a large crowd of devotees in white dhotis and kurtas, with women in white and pink saris, watches. In the foreground a man in a white dhoti and yellow shawl bends to pour water at the foundation, while a man in orange and white stands beside him. Brass pots and a kalasha sit at the edge of the square, and a black water tank and dark signboard stand at the side.
