Photograph of a procession of men in white dhotis and white shirts walking on a sandy path beneath a huge banyan tree with dense hanging aerial roots. The man at front left carries a long pole with a small white object. The man second from left holds an orange-saffron flag with a blue emblem. The man third from left carries a small green bag. Further back a man in white holds a colourful umbrella-style canopy with a multicoloured fringe. Several white-clad figures follow along the path, and rocks lie at the lower corners. Appears to be a paduka yatra, a procession of holy sandals.

In the foreground a man in white clothes with an orange shawl stands facing right. Beside him, a bare-chested man in orange dhoti and orange shawl stands on a rock with his back to the camera, long dark hair falling down. Behind them an older man in white clothes stands near the trunk. A few other people in white and orange are partly visible at the left edge. The faces of the people are not shown in detail.
