Photograph of a golden processional murti pair seated on a yellow draped platform inside a decorated temple ratha or shrine canopy. The left figure is a male deity form in white dhoti and white shawl with gold necklaces and a red tilak; the right is a female deity form in a teal and gold silk sari with silver jewellery and a crown. Both are garlanded with pink, red, yellow and white flower garlands, and a pink flower lies at their feet. Red curtains and a wooden ceiling frame the scene, with a Tamil-script banner above reading the names of the deities. Statues, not living people; the white-clad figure is a deity murti, not an identifiable person.
