A photograph of a ceremonial stage event beneath a banner with Tamil text. Two seated figures in orange-saffron and ornate clothing sit on a decorated dais with a large golden-framed deity murti or ornate throne element at left. The central figure on the right wears an orange robe and a garland, holds a microphone and speaks, with a gold-coloured cloth at the back. Behind the stage hangs an orange banner with a portrait and Tamil lettering. The appearance of the figure seated on the right is uncertain for identification, so the role is described as a speaker on the dais.
