A stage event with a gilded canopy-topped throne at centre, where a man in a red-maroon turban and gold necklaces sits. The seated figure is presented as a person, based on the turban, ornate gold necklace and red-maroon dress cues, with the page confirming his attendance at the event. Two elderly men in saffron-orange robes and orange garlands sit on a white sofa at left. At right, a woman in a white top and patterned blue trousers and a man in white kurta and dhoti stand holding microphones, the man gesturing. A large backdrop painting shows a blue-skinned Shiva with trident and rudraksha garlands against a pink landscape. Seated devotees in white dhotis with gold-bordered shawls fill the foreground, and a sign reads No Smoking and No Video.

A seated figure on an ornate gold throne with a gold canopy wears a red-orange turban, orange robes and gold necklaces; a crowned man wearing saffron ornaments is not clear enough to identify, so this is a central figure of uncertain identity. Two bearded men in saffron robes and garlands sit on white sofas to the left. On the right, a woman in a striped top and white trousers holds a microphone and speaks. Brass oil lamps stand beside the throne, and a red stage rail holds a sign reading 'No S...'. Audience members, some with heads visible at the bottom edge, watch from the foreground.2015-10-26October 26 20152015-10-26October 26 20152015-10-26 +1 copiesA stage event in a hall with red drapes and a large backdrop of Lord Shiva in a meditative pose, holding a trident, with a red-pink mountain landscape behind him. A central golden throne with an ornate canopy holds a seated figure in a saffron-orange and red robe, a rudraksha mala, and a red head covering, with a tiger skin draped over the seat; this is a person candidate on the throne. Two elderly men in orange robes with rudraksha malas sit on white sofas to the left. On the right, a man in a light blue shirt and khaki trousers holds a microphone and speaks. In the foreground, several seated devotees in white and cream attire with saffron shawls face the stage, their backs to the camera. Seated to the left on white sofas are two elderly men in orange robes with garlands and a bearded man in orange, plus another seated figure in the background. To the right a man in a blue shirt and dark trousers sits on a sofa, and a standing man in white dhoti with gold border and gold necklaces gestures while speaking. A tall brass lamp stands at right and a trident-topped staff at the throne. The backdrop shows a pink-red painted temple scene. The central figure has long dark hair and a red turban with a rudraksha-style necklace; the appearance is consistent with the page's candidate but not certain, so the figure is described by role as the seated central figure.2015-10-26Photograph of a stage event under a tent with a red and pink backdrop painted with a figure of Shiva and temple spires.
