A young man in a white shirt, grey trousers and a purple-and-gold shawl stands at left, holding a small book or booklet toward a man in a rust-orange robe with gold trim, a dark orange turban, and a long gold necklace. The robed man holds a small tray with apples and a red cloth-wrapped item, and smiles. A gold-framed red velvet throne-style chair stands behind him. Further right, a woman in a pink and orange sari is partly visible, and another robed figure in orange sits at the far right edge. At lower left, a seated man in white with gold-trimmed red cloth holds a booklet. The orange-robed man is a person by appearance cues (orange robe with gold trim, ornate necklace, turban), shown in person.
