In the foreground, a man in saffron-orange robes with his back to the camera raises a small brass lamp with a flame toward a tree or sapling. A young child in dark clothing sits at the lower edge of the frame, and a woman with blonde hair tied back, wearing orange, kneels with her palms together at the bottom right, appearing to pray. The man's build and orange robe are visible, but his face is not shown, so his identity is uncertain.2008-05-19A seated person in a red-orange wrap and matching dhoti sits cross-legged on a flat rock outdoors, wearing a long orange-yellow marigold garland, gold bangles and a red forehead mark. Behind them rises a rocky hill under a pale sky, with green trees framing the scene. A small purple logo sits at upper left.2017-02-04June 03 20122012-06-03Photograph of a long-haired man in profile standing in a grassy field below a wooded hill with rocky outcrops. He wears an orange saffron wrap, a rudraksha mala across his chest, and a white tilak on his forehead, with one hand raised to his chest. A second figure in white with an orange shawl stands far left, and a palm tree rises to the right. Candidate appearance has several cues (long hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha mala), so the probable label applies.2008-04-01A photograph of an outdoor site where a person with long, curly dark hair, wearing a sleeveless saffron-orange garment, stands with their back to the camera holding a silver ritual vessel with a lit flame. Smoke rises beside them over a green grassy field. Beyond are palm trees, dense shrubs and a rocky, tree-covered hill under an overcast sky. A second person in orange robes is partly visible at the right edge. The scene suggests a bhoomi puja or land blessing ritual, with the lamp as the visible offering.2008-04-01June 03 20122012-06-03Outdoor photograph of a person seen from behind at the edge of a grassy clearing, facing a wooded hill with tall palm trees on the left. The figure has long, dark, wavy hair and wears a sleeveless orange garment. They hold a small silver vessel with a visible flame, apparently an oil lamp or fire offering, in the right hand. A second person in orange clothing appears partially at the right edge. The scene suggests a land-blessing ceremony, a bhoomi puja, though the ritual itself is not clearly visible.2008-04-01
