A photograph of a barefoot figure in orange robes and an orange head wrap standing on a blue-carpeted stage, arms spread wide in a welcoming gesture. Long dark hair falls past the shoulders, and a rudraksha mala hangs on the chest. Behind the figure is a large white-draped portrait banner of a man with long hair and a white garment with a rudraksha mala, set above a white-covered throne with cushions. A white-clad attendant stands at the left beside a pedestal fan, and a blackboard on the right bears Tamil writing. Behind them hangs a very large printed banner portrait of a long-haired figure in white with a white head wrap, serving as a backdrop above white draped tables with flower or offering vessels. Blue draped curtains line the back wall, with a black chalkboard displaying Tamil writing to the right and an electric fan at the left edge. The scene is a discourse stage setting with a satsang-style gathering implied by the layout.2006-12-17December 17 20062006-12-17December 17 20062006-12-17December 17 20062006-12-17A photo of a seated speaker on a stage at a discourse event. A man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban sits cross-legged on a white-draped armchair with round white bolsters, raising one hand while speaking. Around his neck hang long rudraksha malas. Behind him is a large white vinyl banner showing a forearm and hand, with red Tamil lettering at its lower left. The stage has white draping, a red carpeted step and small orange and yellow flower decorations at the base. Purple curtains fill the background. Swamiji (probable): the speaker's long hair, orange turban and saffron robes with rudraksha malas match the cues for the page's subject, and he is physically present at the discourse.2006-12-17December 17 20062006-12-17
