A photo of a seated speaker on a stage at a discourse event. A man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban sits cross-legged on a white-draped armchair with round white bolsters, raising one hand while speaking. Around his neck hang long rudraksha malas. Behind him is a large white vinyl banner showing a forearm and hand, with red Tamil lettering at its lower left. The stage has white draping, a red carpeted step and small orange and yellow flower decorations at the base. Purple curtains fill the background. He sits on a white cushioned chair before a wooden book stand holding an open book, with a garland of yellow and orange marigolds along the stage edge. Behind him a large printed portrait shows a face with a red bindi, and a red banner with the text a person and Shiva Sutras. The scene is a discourse at a stage event.A seated man in an orange-saffron turban and matching saffron robe speaks into a microphone on a stand at a stage or lecture setting. He has long dark hair falling behind his shoulders, a dark rudraksha-style bead mala across his chest, and one hand raised in a gesture while he talks. Behind him stands a white board or panel, with white draped cloth and a fan visible at the edges. The setting is dim. The appearance of the speaker matches the saffron turban, long hair and rudraksha cues associated with the page's Swamiji reference, so this is a probable Swamiji in person, though the appearance is not fully certain.2006-11-26
