A photograph of a deity murti of Devi Meenakshi, adorned with a silver crown, red and gold garments, and a heavy garland of red, yellow, orange and purple flowers, displayed within a red-and-white flower-decorated arch in front of a gold-framed red backdrop. In the foreground at right, a figure with long dark hair and a maroon turban, wearing a white floral garland and a red-bordered cloth, faces the murti in prayer. At left, a man in an orange-brown garment holds a silver tray with offerings, and beside him stands a second deity murti with jewelled necklaces and blue-and-gold attire. The scene suggests a temple-style puja.

A man in a rust-red turban with a gold crown ornament, long dark hair, gold armlets and a rust-coloured dhoti and shawl stands at right, arranging a long garland of yellow, red and white marigold-style flowers draped over a gold-coloured deity murti. Behind him stands a second person in rust-orange clothing with long hair. The gold deity figure has raised hands and wears a rich garland, with a gold kalasha-like vessel and a lit oil lamp at right. The room has warm lighting and wooden architecture. The page's flag note does not establish identity; the man's presentation is only partly visible, with a turban and gold ornaments rather than distinctive long swept hair, rudraksha or saffron-only dress, so the appearance is uncertain.2016-12-14A photograph of a temple interior decorated for worship. In the foreground, a man seen from behind wears a rust-orange dhoti and a matching orange turban with a red-orange shawl, a flower garland around his neck, and gold bangles; he stands with palms pressed together in namaskar. On the right, two deity murti figures with large eyes and crowns are dressed in a red cloth and heavily garlanded with marigolds and multicoloured flowers. Brass oil lamps with lit wicks stand in front of them, and a brass plate sits on the floor. A painted pillared backdrop and a maroon curtain complete the setting.2014-12-05April 25 20182018-04-25 +1 copies
