A photograph of an initiation moment at a Nithya Satsang event. A bare-chested man with long dreadlocks and a saffron/orange cloth draped over his shoulder stands in profile, extending his right arm to press his palm onto the forehead of a kneeling man with short dark hair who wears a cream-colored garment and a beaded necklace. The kneeling man raises both hands in a receptive gesture. Behind them, a woman in a rust-orange sari with a long rudraksha-style mala and forehead markings watches, while another woman in a cream and gold sari smiles, and additional devotees stand in the background. A golden ceremonial vessel is visible in the lower foreground.
