A photograph of a ritual being performed at a temple doorway. A bearded man with long dark hair, wearing a rust-red robe and a white forehead marking, sits on a stone step pouring orange powder into a large ornate brass vessel. A woman in a cream sari with a green border kneels beside him holding a silver bowl of orange liquid. A cameraman in a white shirt films the scene, and shirtless men in white dhotis and onlookers stand or sit behind. Other devotees watch from the background near a stone pillar.
