A man with long dark hair and a full beard sits on an ornate silver throne with gold lion-head armrests, holding a silver trident upright with both hands while his eyes are closed. He wears an orange-rust robe with gold-bordered edges, a dark rudraksha mala draped across his chest, and bare feet resting on brass footstools. A silver-and-tassel canopy shades him, with red steps and trees behind. Other people are visible only in the background at the edge of the frame.

His feet rest on a pair of metal padukas on a patterned rug, and a red-stepped structure and green foliage form the background.
