A large group of saffron-robed sadhus and sannyasis sit cross-legged in rows on a bare concrete floor inside a red tent during a meal at the Kumbh Mela. Many wear orange and saffron robes, with several in red, orange or white head coverings, and some have grey or white beards. Each person has a steel thali plate of food and a small glass in front of them. Clothes hang on lines along the red tent walls, and a child is held by a standing man in white at the back.
